Management Team

Marvin is focused in improving Business Performance for his clients in the mid market. He brings over 20 years of experience in driving business improvement with a focus on the Supply Chain. Marvin has extensive experience in both consulting and Fortune 500 and mid market corporate environments. He has a strong track record in driving World Class results through a value-based combination of process improvement, education and training, and implementation of leading software tools. His current focus is on process development to align strategic planning with operational execution, commonly referred to as Business Performance Management.

Marvin has played both operational and consulting roles - including:

Numerous implementations of Demand and Supply planning systems, from multi million dollar projects in Fortune 100 companies, to work with various mid market packages. His experiences have provided the foundation for the Cogenix process and implementation best practice methodologies and materials. Some examples of results from these projects:


  • At a major office products distributor, the implementation of an inventory management system and optimization of the Demand Planning module, leading to millions of dollars in inventory reductions and improved Customer Service

  • For a multinational dairy products firm, leading the implementation of set of modules to manage demand planning, distribution requirements planning, and production scheduling. The project was completed in under 2 months, with a tremendous effort from both the corporate staff and project team. Results came quickly, showing improvements in both Customer Service and Inventory turns. Savings from reduces obsolescence were in the $100,000s

  • Leading an operational team for a major medical products distributor which improved Service Level to industry leading levels, reducing service failures by 43%. This was done with a 15% reduction in inventory, and a reduction in operational costs

A leading expertise in Business Performance Management (BPM) and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) implementations. These projects involved the process development to drive strategic imperatives through to execution, supporting cross functional planning processes with various data/BI tools providing the information needed for quick and effective decision making.   • Implementing, for a recreational products manufacturer, an inventory management and Sales & Operations Planning process which lead to a 33% inventory reduction with an increase in Customer service level

  • For a leading Tier 2 pharmaceutical company, supported the implementation of a Sales & Operations Planning process which became the model for a Global project covering a multi Billion production environment

  • For a distributor of summer and winter outdoor products, implemented processes and tools to improve demand planning and supply management which set a foundation for inventory reductions and customer service improvements, while automating virtually all operational and planning data flows.

Marvin brings a strong background in distribution facility and WMS implementations. Examples include:


  • Leading the outsourcing of the $100,000,000 Reverse Flow distribution center operations. The project created savings in the hundreds of thousands of dollars

  • For a company in the pharmaceutical industry, as an on site project co-ordinator, supported the construction and commissioning of a sterile filling production facility. Also provided project management training to key corporate staff

  • For a leading global dairy products manufacturer, supported the design and construction of a new distribution center and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Marvin is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, and has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
